You can also use the three search-engines under the topic search. The first search-engine checks the pages at the homesite of Smooth & Soul, where you find informations about charts, labels, links, radiostations, sellers and more.
So if you need informations about an artist, check the two other search-engines for the book of artists.

Other websites announcing upcoming releases are for example:
It 's a problem to offer soundsamples. Primary reason is the lack of webspace to provide such sound-files. Another aspect is the question of copyright. Respecting the copyright of artists and labels it's a criminal act to copy protected sounds without the permission of the copyright-owner. An abridged version may be tolerated by the copyright-owner, but this is unsure. Better ask the copyright-owner before publishing sound-files.
This website doesn't offer RA-files, because it is placed in Germany. In Germany we have the GEMA. The function of GEMA is explained at http://www.gema.de/eng/information/musik_f_alle/funktion.shtml. Payment of the royalty claim will give you the GEMA licence to use music. Recently a websiteowner has to pay for each soundfile 25 Euros a year. You must know, even with the permission of the GEMA-protected artist you have to pay the royalty claim, even the artist has to pay for publication of his own soundfiles. Directly linking to a soundfile? You have to pay too. These informations are given by the centrale office of GEMA.

This website is dedicated to the Contemporary Jazz. Personally we love
So we would prefer to review albums of the Smooth Jazz and Acid Jazz genre.
Instruments, we appreciate:
We love perfect arrangements and compositions, sophistic and skillful pieces. Sensitive and contemplative songs, funky and uptempo beats, just unique and surprising music. We dislike beginners, who are not aware of their lack of knowledge, producing cds, nobody wants to listen to.
Informations about upcoming events do you find under the topic Events. There you find a lot of links to the most important event-sites and the Pollstar-search-engine. Personal impressions about earlier concerts are at event-diary. Further reports are to find under the topics Debbie's Corner and Joan's Essentielles.
