The French artist Christophe Goze, who now lives in Barcelona, has been reviewed here several times. He had 2 ideas for his latest album, which will only be released digitally.

First, he wanted to show the listeners how he produces songs. When he removed the jazzy guitar and the chill-out & lounge sound, the jazzy track sounded really lounge. That's how he came up with the idea of releasing it instrumentally. Second, he got the idea to invite other people to play on it.

In his own words it was: "Enjoy some of my most known tracks as instrumental versions, featuring beats and sounds that complement and enhance the original track. The tracks have been remixed for that purpose exposing some of my lounge & downtempo producer secrets & skills Without my lead guitars the music reveals even more of its chill & relaxing feel accompanied perfectly by candlelight and red wine.”

And he liked it so much that he is already thinking about a successor!

Of course he played guitar and keyboards himself, and was assisted by Curtis Lyons Jr., Matthieu Rabatte and Laurent Faucheux on drums, and by Roberto Briot on bass. Christophe composed all but one track, arranged, produced and mixed everything himself. 'Mourir d'aimer' is of course a cover of Charles Aznavour.

Instrumental chill-out that makes you feel relaxed! To be enjoyed with a cocktail!
