Many
of you have heard of Chip Shearin…some of you may have not…but there
are countless people who’ve felt his presence through his tantalizing
bass playing. He’s been the low-end pulse for many national pop &
jazz artists. Chip
Shearin is highly recognized as an astonishing record producer. On top
of performing and producing – he also runs KEO Music Recordings, an
indie label distributed by Warner Bros. Chip,
a native of North Carolina, now calls Los Angeles, California his home.
He studied music at Duke University as well as the Manhattan School of
Music. Chip Shearin also lectures about the business of music at
colleges across the country. Currently,
Chip is completing a solo project that will not only feature his
incredible bass playing and composing talents, but also a few of the
national recording artists he’s toured with over the years. Following
