May 22, 1968. Mother  ( Mildred Duquette b. 1927), Father ( Jack A. Luecke 1926-1992 ) 

Sister ( Mary Baye b. 1967 )  James started out playing piano at age 12 and took the saxophone up at age 13.

By  age 15 he was performing with the Milwaukee Pius high school Jazz ensemble under direction of Robert Stevenson and performing at different   venues through out the city. After high school he put down his instrument for a time and latter performed in a Jazz group under the direction of Jack Grassel  and  Berkley Fudge at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

James also performed with the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Concert Band, Greendale Jazz Band, Tropical Heat, Moments Notice, Glenn  Davis Band , The Paul Spencer Group, Kenzo- ( P-funk Allstar) . In  2002 James received his B.S. in  Physics from the University of Wisconsin - Kenosha and released a number of recordings.
