The group "A little space" represents the Next Generation of Smooth Jazz. Tuneful. intelligently written songs with heart. It's jazzy, it's funky, it grooves, male vocals and instrumentals. Building on the sounds of artists such as Steely Dan, Al Jarreau and Sting, though uniquely original. I'm on the case, I play the
bass. I play two very different
basses, a 1965 Fender Jazz Bass made fretless and way customized; a 1996
Alembic Essence 5 string (fretted). The fretless is great for
jazz, ballads, latin as it a warm organic sound, much like an acoustic
bass. The Alembic is a an especially beautiful bass, one of the world's best instruments. It's a very modern electric instrument, bright and deep, good for funk and pop. I am available for recording or performance and composition. I live in the Los Angeles area, Pasadena to be exact. As well as the styles represented here, I also play straight-ahead Jazz, Latin & Funk. |
