Surely, he is an idea whose season has finally come!

While the industry struggles to define how to merge entertainment, communication and technology into a consumer product, this information designer/guitarist has brought his musical talent to the forefront and produced and packaged his debut release, It’s Not So Easy, with cuttingedge vision and innovative technology.JU has entered a brand new season, with his new CD, It’s Not So Easy. For this outing he has turned the tables and invited long-time friend Norman Connors to co-produce and appear on this CD. The theme of this contemporary R&B, smooth jazz CD is all about relationships. Bostick has combined his jazzy guitar sounds with the well-known, classic voice of Jean Carn, the soul-wrenching sounds of consummate rhythm and blues artist, Ali Woodson, and the extraordinary vocal talents of close friend Denise Stewart.

The music and lyrics contained in It’s Not So Easy, speak to the heart and soul of relationships. It is propelled by a seasoned band of musicians. Guest appearances include Gary Bartz, flutist Art Webb and close associate bassist Welton Gite. To top it off, JU has innovatively packaged It’s Not So Easy with an interactive CD-ROM that features multimedia and additional content from the recording sessions. The multimedia experience takes the user into the minds and souls of the musicians and vocalists during the music’s creation. His artistry is clearly ahead of his contemporaries.

Bostick recognized the impact that the Internet and multimedia would have on the entertainment industry and established a presence on the World Wide Web, www.nutbutton.com. The site features new and established artists with his multimedia content and web design. He views the Internet as an extension of his music productions and began developing multimedia content for all of hismusic projects.

From 1991 to 1995 JU worked with Norman on his Mojazz CD Remember Who You Are, and on Mojazz guitarist Norman Brown’s debut CD Just Between Us. 1997 was the second Mojazz CD from Connors, Easy Living and 1999 Eternity.
