peacefulness. I especially liked the guitar tracks and the interaction
between the guitar and fender rhodes keyboard that lends itself to bands
such as Weather Report and Pat Metheny. We know what great music has come

Emerging from the sensual beat of urban culture pulsing amid a blend of the lush ocean, island, mountain, and water environments of Hawaii and the Pacific Coast, Cat Tanzu's electric guitar, keyboards and percussion unleash scenes of languid beaches, cloud-laced skies, hard driving streets and darkened city skylines. Cat Tanzu is a musical craftsman, using his guitar and keyboards as the main tools to fashion beautiful works of music. The music is lush and sparkling, relaxing and dreamy, sexy and romantic, sometimes moody and dramatic. All of it is escapist, offering respite from the frenetic everyday world. Cat grew up and cut his musical teeth in the fertile musical milieus of Honolulu and Seattle, exposing him to a wide range of styles and artists. His work captures the essences of the urban and natural environments of these two Pacific cities, prominent centers of the evolving 21st century world culture. He has played for audiences large and small as keyboardist and background vocalist for the PD Band.
