The Blue Shoes
Legendary Singer-Songwriter, Jim Diamond and Soul Saxophonist, Snake
Davis, have recently come together to form "The Blue Shoes".
Jim shot to fame with his million selling hits, "I Won't Let You
Down", "Shoulda Known Better", and the theme tune
from ITV's 'Boon' - "Hi Ho Silver" . In the late 1990's
he met Snake when they performed together at some London charity shows.
They discovered a wonderful on and off-stage chemistry, based on their
shared love of soul music and heartfelt melodies and lyrics. The
decision was made to write, record and perform together acoustically.
The Blue Shoes play a joyful, exhilarating, passionate and above all,
entertaining mix of Jim Diamond classics, new songs and favourite covers
from the likes of Ray Charles and Lennon/McCartney.
