A self taught singer-musician in the school of life and various musicals influences. Co-writer, composer and keyboardist in the San Francisco based band, Paradox Blue.Dorien has toured as a lead singer on the european music scene since 1992.He has shared diverse experiences thorough different bands ; But in 1994 , he found his musical home-base with Romeo Blue. Now he's building bridges.....
He started playing bass at the age of 17. A self-taught musician , he has played in several local bands such as Polyedre(jazz-band),X-Tet and others...before taking it to the stages across France with the group " Invitation"until 1993. He joined Romeo Blue in 1994. He has simultaneously participed in diverse educational projects , elaborated workshops in funk and soul music at the "APEJ'S" in Chambery and helped create computer-aided-music workshops as well... At the age of sixteen , he met his first six stringed love. They have been together ever since! He has participated in various local formations ( in Annecy , France "the alps"). In 1992 , he studied at the "Musician Institute" of Los Angeles. It was here , through contact with guitar greats like Norman Brown and Allan Kinds that he broadened his musical skills. Upon his return to france , he performed in numerous clubs and joined Romeo Blue in 1994...
