Maria Lorenza Marquez

 
Maria was born in the Philippines and came to the U.S. via Chicago, Illinois. She spent many of her younger years during cold winters listening to such greats Nat 'King' Cole, The Platters, Patsy Cline, Billie Holiday, and Portugese music which influenced her greatly. Currently she does many of her gigs with The Jimmie Owens Jazz Ensemble.
