Yolonda Lisa's musical style reflects influences such as Loose Ends,
Sade, Chico Debarge, and Paul Hardcastles while being compared vocally to
Phyllis Hyman and Maysa Leaks of Incognito.... although here style is
still very much her own signature. From Smooth Jazz to R&B to Latin,
this 25 and older targeted project has it all: style, ryhthm and soul.
Yolonda Lisa has worked with Pieces of a Dream and has opened for Tyreese, Silk, Midnight Star, Club Nuveau, Howard Hewitt, Yo Yo, and Tupak Shakur. She appeared on "The Gospel Explosion", a nationally syndicated TV special narrated by MC Hammer which featured Take 6, Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin. Yolonda Lisa is a self contained artist.
