Labib Farah

 

Labib started playing drums at age 5 on tins and cans in the backyard. His parents did not encourage him to take up music, so he pursued a computer science degree in San Francisco California at SFSU recording and multitracking throughout the eighties. His live experience includes solo piano bar performances.


His musical influences are the Yellow Jackets, Dave Weckl, Joe Sample, Djavan, Larry Carlton and Michael Franks.


His instruments are Yamaha stage series Drums, Fender Precision Bass/EMG pickups,Yamaha SBG2000 Guitar, Roland rd300 digital Piano, Hammond C-3, Kurzweil Sampler.

His music style is simple instrumental smooth Jazz/Blues.

His first album will be Labib Live (Not released yet).
