Common Bond

 

Common Bond is a unique vocal-instrumental band, featuring seven players
and a female singer, performing original music written and arranged
especially for this ensemble. The style embraces elements from jazz, rock,
African, Latin and Middle-Eastern genres, and is best described as 'world
fusion'.

Common Bond started performing in February 1999, and has already earned a resident status at Israel's most prestigious venues, as well as appearances
in several national music festivals. The show is hot, energetic and full of
imagination. It is a journey through an intricate web of musical styles
uniting on stage to form a warm and homogenous picture of pure love for
music.

Common Bond, founded by guitar player Kobi Shefi, is a unique musical project, performing original music written and arranged especially for this ensemble.

The members of the ensemble come from a wide range of musical backgrounds: From classical through rock, jazz and blues to ethnic music. Each player contributes his own style and experience, forming the unique sound that characterises the group.

Common Bond started performing on February 1999. It has appeared in several national music festivals, whilst maintaining its resident spot at Israel's most prestigious venues in Tel-Aviv.
