BopHouse

BopHouse is Anders Levin (keyboards, programming, vocals) with occasional help from Niklas Relander (guitars, keyboards and co-writing.) Anders is located in Gothenburg, Sweden, while Niklas now lives in Ekenäs, Finland - so they collaborate by exchanging MP3 files via E-mail.   That collaboration has resulted in the web only release of the CD named "The Web-collection and more...".
More are in the works, so that's one great reason to visit their website regularly.

It all started six years ago when they met during a session with a musician friend they had in common, and found that their musical ideas fitted well together. Since that day they have beside other projects been writing and producing music together with quite a lot of new songs as a result. For a start it was their mutual fascination for American west coast music that was the driving force behind
their song writing.

However, since that day a lot of new influences have come to have impact on their style. They mean that music has to be created spontaneously and unconditionally so that the whole spectra of earlier and recent musical experiences have a chance to shine through and get mixed together. And whatever the style of a song may be, their ultimate quest is to create that kernel of some kind of magic that features a good song, and that is possible to feel, but so hard to describe or understand. But why not let the music speak for itself!?

"It is a groovy and melodic music that sometimes wants to
make you move, sometimes wants to tell you what's going
down, and sometimes just sits in the background as you bob
your head, not quite knowing why you are feeling so funky."
