Filippo Bertacche

I'm playing' drums from 11 years and my first passion have been TOTO and JEFF PORCARO. I met Steve, David, Mike and Simon in '92 in the Kingdom of Desire tour...
Basically a self-taught drummer, I started play a rock-funk style, "stolen" here and there especially from POLICE  and S.COPELAND. In these years I have also listened to  drummers like D.WECKL, V.COLAIUTA, D.CHAMBERS, S.GADD and recently to C.WACKERMAN, T.BRECTHLEIN, J.BARON... and then B.STEWART and S.PHILLIPS.
Probably Simon Phillips influenced me to write my first tunes
in 1996: After 8 months working' hard, I've realized my first CD POLLUTION. I've created music bases with a Korg X5 keyboard  and an old Atari computer with a Cubase software; finished all  the arrangements I've recorded my drums directly on a VHS  stereo tape at first take!

Now you can listen to it by my web sites listed below...In this last year I've started play jazz with Thelonious school jazz players in Vicenza, especially with a great quartet, Ermanno Zuccato (sax), Michele Zattera (guitar), Michele Gava (c.bass). With this quartet I've recorded some standard jazz tunes collected in three  CDs; Now one official is ready and called Workin'Jazzin'Tracks. You can contact me to have one, even if
you want contact us for a performance or to see us in our
next  sessions! (To do it, visit my Vitaminic web site).

In  2000 I've started to play on the net with other musicians around the world... in this site you can find my music internet collaborations and musicians links.  Net Experience Cd  I've collects my collaborations with Bob Johnson (Canada), Bill Lawrence (New York), Kyle Whitlock (Usa), John Cohmer (Usa), Kenny Wright (Usa), Ernie Mansfield (California), Matt Thorpe (Uk),Carl Eichman (Usa), The Sands (Uk), Bal (Los Angeles) and many others musicians.
