Minoru plays guitars and guitar synthesizer and composes, arranges, programs and mixes. He is Japanese born and bred, now live in Osaka Japan. When he was a child, he had never been interested in playing music at all. At the age of 19, he bought Led Zep.'s 4th album. That was the first time he bought a rock album. Then Jimmy Page became his first guitar hero like most of guitar kids had been crazy about the great rock guitarist in those days. When Minoru started to play guitar with a band, he had already become a student of Nihon University. As anyone had ever been so at that time, he was also crazy about Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Santana, etc.

But somehow he had been in a punk rock group at his college life...... ...As Minoru wanted to be a director or producer related to commercial TV or movie, he attended to Broadcasting of Art college, Nihon University. He had already lost the interest, because he wanted to become a guitarist as a professional.

After graduation, working at a record and musical instruments shop, Minoru went to music school named AN school in kyoto for learning musical skill and guitar. After that he took lessons from Kazuhiko Takeda, a Japanese famous jazz guitarist, also from Katsuhiko Tanzen Tanaka, an excellent arranger, cause he had never studied about music before. Minoru learned traditional jazz guitar style and arrangement from them and got to like fusion and jazz guitarist like Larry Carlton, Lee Ritienour, Joe Pass, Wes, John Scofield and so on. Since 1985, he had been working at local bands and performing live acts with different bands, Rock, pop and jazz taste, until 1996. In those days , he had never thought about becoming fame as an artist, because he had been just only a guitar player. For some reason maybe he lost his passion to continue his music life, so he once retired playing guitar in 1996 and worked at the other job. But now Minoru regained his passion for music and decided to restart his career as an artist in 1998. So he has been creating his own music for himself since 1998. Minoru Amino will continue the work until angels will take him to heaven where God lives in.
