Sandro Albert

 

Sandro Albert is a Brazilian jazz guitarist, composer and arranger. Sandro is currently touring and promoting the release of his debut album, Soulful People. This album is brimming with image-provoking melodies, embracing Brazilian and World Jazz while combined with a straight-ahead modern attitude. Prior to his solo career, Sandro worked as a sideman in Brazil with major artists for fifteen years. The thirty-four year old came to the United States three years ago, and here has worked with the band WAR, Brenda Russell, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim, as well as the Luis Conte Band. Current projects include a compilation guitar album on Unitone Recordings with Ralph Towner, Steve Morse, Earl Klugh, and Rick Emitt.
