Peter Petrucci

 

 

Peter Petrucci graduated with a BA Music from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1989 and was to return a few years later to take up a teaching position at this University. Peter has also studied abroad with the likes of John Scofield and Jim Hall. 

Some of his major influences are Pat Metheny and pianist Keith Jarrett.Peter is often to be found performing locally at various jazz venues with musicians such as Geoff Kluke, Ben Robertson, Tony Gould, Nick Haywood, Tony Floyd, Len Ramoskis, Mike Jordan and Mark Fitzgibbon, just to name a few. 

He has also performed with many European based musicians throughout Germany and Italy. Peter has also supported some of Melbourne's finest musicians and has also been involved in Film score performances, such as "CRASH" by the legendary film composer, Howard Shore at the 1998 Cinesonic Film Music Festival at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
