Young Ngoc A View Of Life Based in Los Angeles, CA, Cori Jacobs is a talented and motivated producer. He got his start as a church musician where he was able to strengthen his keyboard playing skills. After spending several years mastering his instrument and directing the church choir, Cori was encouraged by a close friend to take on other musical endeavors. Shortly thereafter, he developed a passion for jazz. Studying and eventually playing jazz proficiently, Cori was able to develop a sound knowledge of musical composition, theory, and arrangement. He joined several bands and gained experience performing live. The riggers and demands of touring were not conducive to the songwriting process, so Cori took time off to produce and record songs he had been writing for years. Collaborating with other artists proved to be a vital step in his growth as a complete producer. He was able to develop his songwriting craft by creating projects to display the full spectrum of his producing and songwriting talents.

His first CD, 440.00Hz a contemporary, urban, jazz-flavored 10-song set, was recorded on his own label, Ethnic Bomb Records. Not taking time out, he is presently working on his second CD. Staying true to his roots, he often performs live as an in-demand, gigging musician, and his expertise are often sought out and utilized as a musical director. If his past accomplishments are any indication of what he is capable of doing, Cori's future will be filled with a tune of success. Music should take its listeners on a journey. There should be a runway, a take off, a flight and then a landing. There are many planes but very few pilots who really know how to take care of its passengers on such flights. Cori's music will turn your ears into his eyes. His melodies are a window into his soul, showing you where he is and where he would like to be. You'll remain alert and exited while he takes you up to enjoy the views of his heart. On this recording, 440.00Hz, Cori is the producer, arranger and musician. This is all him. Come take flight 440.00Hz. "Cause music should not be music it should be a trip."
