Mario Hemsley

Mario Hemsley is busy. Besides working as an emergency pediatrician, he is the president of Pax Productions ,an independent production company operating in the Los Angeles area. Working out of his self-designed Midimax Studios, Mario is the prototype of today's "E-Man" (i.e. "Everything Man") producer. He was the discoverer and initial producer of the alternative rap metal band, Spade Ghetto Destruction, previously on Zoo Records.

But Mario also does his own thing, and was previously a semi-finalist on KJLH's StreetJam Contest with his self-produced musical endeavor, The Hemsley-Foster Project. He is currently working on projects with Richard Dedeaux of the legendary Watts Prophets (London Records), Pam Williams and Shile ("see-lay"), as well as finishing a second offering from The Hemsley-Foster Project.

Additionally his company, Pax Productions, has big plans for the Internet. Later this year they will begin marketing independent artists on their new website Pax Stereo Online. Pax Productions is also planning a Web Page to market their Ghetto Metal(tm) line of T-shirts and accessories. As we said, Mario is busy. And Pax Productions is a name to remember.
