Saxy Lady and the SurfCats The smooth jazz sounds of Saxy Lady and the SurfCats had it's origins quite a long time ago with founding members Jim and Tracy Willard. With their performing career as T.J. Willard going back some sixteen years, Jim and Tracy developed what is now the smooth "Saxy Lady" sound. After living "on the road" for three years and performing in 38 states, Jim and Tracy settled down in Florida, where they met Venezuelan saxaphonist and percussionist Hector Jimenez.. The three of them performed as Saxy Lady and the SurfCats in central Florida for about two years, entertaining crowds up and down the spacecoast. Recently Jim and Tracy have moved to Colorado Springs where they are performing as Saxy Lady with percussionist Mic Clik. Hector can be heard performing in the Miami music scene. A new CD is in the works and hopefully will be available in January or February. Stay Tuned. |
