"The first album I ever recorded was solo piano music. That was 10 years ago. From here I went on to record 13 more albums, none of which were ever just solo piano music. I guess history does repeat itself because here I am again, doing what I feel I do best, just playing by myself.

Finding time to relax has been a challenge over the past few years with the demands of my schedule. Recording a solo album gave me the opportunity to be alone to create the kind of music I love to play.

Also, over the years, many of my fans have grown to love my own compositions. Being quietly inspired, I was able to record six new originals. What's special about the original work is that each song was created on the day it was recorded. This music was my first thought of the day. I hope you will enjoy the freshness that I think it brings to this album.

Last but not least, everyone always asks about my two children. "Are they taking piano lessons?" Well, the answer is no. But I do have a special surprise for everyone. For the first time, I am introducing the lovely voice of my 9-year-old daughter, Kendall. She sings one verse on 'Castle On A Cloud' that I'm sure will make you smile.
