Angelo Jannotti


Guitarist and frontman Angelo Jannotti gas stepped up to the plate to join the ranks of

Orlando's success stories. Angelo has been honing his playing and writtings skills by doing session work with some of today's hottest acts from „The Backstreet Boys" to „The 69 Boyz". Angelo has done guitar clinics from coast to coast, has been a featured columnist for Buzz magazine, and a guest lecturer at Full Sail for the recording arts in Orlando.

Angelo's music has been heard on television from the hit sitcom „Friends" to „Fox sports" and has opened shows for the likes of Earl Klugh and Bob James.


Angelo Jannotti has been playing guitar since the age of 8. He was featured on Legato Records' "Guitar On the Edge 5." The series featured the world's scariest guitarists including Alan Holdsworth, Steve Morse, Dave Larue, Frank Gambale and Shawn Lane among others. Angelo's Library disc "Guitar Wizard" is in use worldwide on cable, satellite, and network television. The disc has been a main stay on major network television shows including NBC's hit sitcom "Friends" and has been featured on major Sporting events such as the "Pepsi 400."


Angelo is an experienced session player performing on records by the Backstreet Boys, 69 Boys, Bertie Higgins with Jeff Cook (Alabama), Raab, Trey D., CBS/SONY, Geffen, Quadrasound, Tidal wave, Jive, Rippit and Trans continental Records.

Angelo gives monthly lectures on recording guitars at Full Sail for the recording arts and has been a featured performer and demonstrator at NAMM and Guitar shows.



Angelo's new release „Greener Shades of smooth" takes the listener on a musical journey through an  eclectic mix of Smooth Jazz, Latin, R & B flavored grooves and more. The project features world class talent including drummer/percussionist Sonny Emory (Earth, Wind & Fire, David Sanborn, Hypno Funk, TLC), bassists Sam Sims (Janet Jackson, K D Lang, Hypno Funk, TLC), Jimi Hendricks (Reality Check, Chasing Furies), Tim Franklin (Paul Shafer, Joe Walsh, Bo Diddley, Franklin Brothers), keyboardist Phill Davis (Hypno Funk, TLC), drummers Tim Berkebile (Backstreet Boys, Cher), Liberty Devito (Billy Joel), Gary Moffatt (38 Special), singer percussionist Ruthie Bennett and saxophonist Paul Howards (N-Sync).


Long time music industry veteran Sonny Abelardo co-produced the project with Angelo. Sonny has worked with world class talent such as Larry Carlton, Joe Sample, Fourplay, Michael Franks and many others.


„Greener Shades of Smooth" and Angelo's last release „Eclectic Aucoustic Electric" demonstrate Angelo's versatility. They are available nationally through the Carvin catalog with other notables such as Robin Ford, Steve Vai, Alan Holdsworth and Bunny Brunell.


The single „Blue Gruv" has been added to the play list on the Smooth Jazz WLOQ 103,1, WUCF in Orlando and WFIT Melbourne, FL. The „Greener Shades of Smooth" CD release party featured an all star band sponsored by WLOQ. The players included drummer Gerry Brown (Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Chick Corea, Stanley Clark), bassist Chris Kent (Michael McDonald, Larry Carlton, Kirk Whalum), keyboardist Rick Jackson (Amy Grant, Larry Carlton), with special guests Liberty Devito and Tim Franklin.


Angelo continues his multifaceted music career performing with hiws band, giving clinic and lectures, custom programming and consulting for guitarists and manufactures, writting´, session and live work.
