Basia Trzetrzelewska Basia Trzetrzelewska, a Polish jazz-pop singer, is currently an artist for Sony Music, with releases on Epic and 550 Music. Before her solo career, she was the female singer for the band Matt Bianco and contributed to their excellent album Whose Side Are You On? She left Matt Bianco with pianist Danny White to persue a solo career, starting with her 1987 debut, Time and Tide. Since then, she has produced three full length albums, London Warsaw New York, The Sweetest Illusion, and her 1995 live album, Basia on Broadway. On November 17th, 1998, Sony released Clear Horizon, a greatest hits collection with four songs previously unreleased in the US. There are also several singles and EPs, including the Japanese two-disc set The Best Remixes and the American EP Brave New Hope. In late 1994, Sony released a 24K gold, remastered version of Time and Tide as part of their Master Sound collection. News Flash: another Basia collaboration is reported by Ray Navarra. She sings on one of the tracks on the new Spyro Grya album, Got the Magic. The song is called "Springtime Laughter" an will be released on June 1st, 1999.
