Eddie Anderson The Eddie Anderson Project features some of the best of Washington, D.C.'s professional musicians. Starting with the band leader Eddie Anderson on drums. Eddie is a product of the Washington DC public schools and a graduate of the University of Maryland acclaimed music department. Eddie was also the percussion instructor at the D.C Youth Orchestra program for 12 years. He is now the band director at Hine Junior High School in Washington, DC where he lead the bands history making march down Pennsylvania Ave for President William Jefferson Clinton's 1993 Inaugural Parade. Eddie is also the coordinator for the Smithsonian Museum's Duke Ellington Youth Festival J.H.S. band. Eddie has played with such notable musicians as Andrew White, Rick Henderson and Ron Elliston. Michael Hariston on saxophone has a masters in music. Walter Cosby on Bass has played with such artist as Fish Belly Black, Jean Carn and others. On Keyboards Gerry Gillespie has played with Jean Carn and many others. Cherie Mitchell also has plated with Jean Carn and many others. Cherie Mitchell also has played with Jean Carn and is currently playing with Pieces of A Dream. Stan Cooper is currently playing with the Marcus Johnson project. Tony Cothran is playing with Myesha and the Hip Huggers. Elliot Levine has just finished his second CD entitled Inter City Groove. Jeff Rush's last CD was entitled Black Tie Affair, and he is currently working on his second CD. George Jones has worked with many artists in the DC area. Russell Lyles has his own group. Steve Bundick also has his own group performing in the DC area. Dana Freeman is an up and coming vocalist.
